When a low-level lamia accidentally kills the hero of the land with a critical hit, she takes it upon herself to save the land from the forces of evil that threaten to destroy it. But how can a monster who can’t level up save her homeland?
I’ve been playing around with this idea for a comic for a while, and while it may never come to fruition as I have my hands full just keeping one comic going, it’s fun to dream. The original concept was only a lamia, but I quickly realized that I’d need a standard JRPG party to match. There might be one more party member in the wings, but that’ll be for another time.
It also allowed me to test out a layout for character sheets that I’d like to use moving forward, so you might see more like this in the future.
